Dir Sir/Madam:

I am please to inform you that a recent review of the Queen City Darting Association financial accounts has identified an undistributed balance intended for donation to the Red Cross in support of the September 11, 2001 tragedy victims.  In September of 2001, our organization conducted a small dart tournament to raise funds that would assist the Red Cross administer assistance to the victims of the World Trade Center disaster.  Apparently these funds were deposited in our account, and a check was written, and to the best of our knowledge mailed to the Red Cross.  This check has never cleared our account.  Considering we are nearing the 3 year anniversary of the unfortunate event, and since our intention was to make this donation to assist those in need, our board has decided to re-issue the check in the amount of $600 to the Red Cross.  This money could be used for the Victims of September 11, or to victims of the Hurricanes recently ravaging the southeast.  We will leave it up to the Red Cross to distribute to the most appropriate disaster victim relief operation.  We as a non-profit organization appreciate all that the Red Cross stands for & does for the less fortunate members of our society and around the world.  Please accept this donation with the QCDA’s deepest sympathies for the victims of the World Trade Center disaster.

Sincerely,

Jeff Page
